This site is not flashy or exciting but it has a lot of great information on burnout. The articles are chatty in style and offer anecdotes of personal experience to make the point. It can get a little confusing, but in general offers good suggestions and resources.
“The Superchild Syndrome”
An interesting article that looks at the teen burnout problem. The author traces the problem to parents that stress children out and demand good grades. Kids want to “do everything” and be the highest achiever. The article is written with parents in mind, so if you feel like you’re fitting the profile of the stressed out “superchild,” talk to your parents and recommend this article! (P, T)
