Not only can disagreements or fights based on hate lead to violence, but even worse, they can lead to segregation.  When groups separate themselves based on certain characteristics, they miss out on all of the great qualities that different people have to offer. 

Our nation fought hard to bring together many different races and to demand respect and fair treatment regardless of age, sex, or social status.  What makes our country special is that, although we all belong to one nation, each individual has a unique background or culture to add to the mix.  There is definitely no place in this "Melting Pot" for people of discrimination.

Still, everyday there are millions of cases of discrimination.  Some are more obvious or severe than others, but all of these cases add up to a huge problem!

Whether it's racism, age discrimination, social barriers, or gender biases...discrimination based on the stereotypes assigned to different types of people can be very dangerous.

But, YOU HAVE A CHOICE!  You can let discrimination affect you in a negative way...or you can have a positive effect in the fight against it.  CHOOSE WISELY!
