My Music
Sing...sing a song.
We all know what music is, but not everyone can explain what music means to him personally. Though music definitely means something different to everyone, all of us in the younger generation have something in common – Parents just don’t understand. In order for your parents or other adults to understand your music, you have to be able to explain why it is important to you. Help them to understand how you relate to the lyrics, and how it helps you. Ask yourself, “What is My Music?”
Your music, is the soundtrack to your life and it is what gets you through the day.  It can be your temporary escape from problems, your way to express how you are feeling or just something constantly in the background of your everyday activities. Your music automatically puts you into a community with people who have at least a few similar interests. It can also be a great way to break the ice when you meet new friends.  It can be a rebellion or a way to relate to your parents.  However you look at it, music is the real universal language. When used to its full advantage, your music can break down barriers.
