National Adolescent Suicide Hotline: (800) 621 – 4000 Often, individuals who place too much pressure on themselves or are pressured by parents, friends, teachers and coaches, feel inadequate. When feelings of hopelessness and helplessness get to be too much, a person might consider suicide. This hotline is there to prevent those tragedies and help people realize that there are alternatives when they feel too much pressure.
