The National Center for Fair and Open Testing
From the org: “The National Center for Fair & Open Testing (FairTest) works to end the misuses and flaws of standardized testing and to ensure that evaluation of students, teachers and schools is fair, open, valid and educationally beneficial.” This site has some great statistics and studies on test taking but obviously take an anti-standardized testing stance. It’s easy to navigate but there is so much information you may want to set aside a lot of time to look through it.
Educational Testing Services (ETS) - ETS is the largest organization that produces standardized tests. Their tests include APs, SATs, GREs, Praxis (teaching tests), amongst many others. At this site there is information on specific tests, local test sites, disability options, news, research, test prep and much more.
Princeton Review is one of the leading test prep companies. They offer study guides, books, tutors, prep classes and other test taking help. They also have update news on changes in format of the various tests, as well as free tools, such as practice tests online. This is a good site to prepare for the test- even if you are not going to purchase any materials.
Kaplan is another leading test prep company. Their site is easy to navigate but is more sales geared. They have a few free practice tests, links to test registration sites and some other free material, but in general go to this site if you are looking for a book, course, tutor or other test prep aid.
