National Tutoring Association
The goal of this association is to provide a network for tutors (peer or student tutors, professional tutors, volunteers, etc.) You can join the association or just look over the ethics or rules that tutors should follow when they’re helping their “tutee.” (P, T)
Sylvan Learning Center
There are more than 950 Sylvan Learning Centers in the US and Canada. If you need extra help, this is a well-recognized place to go. Talk to your parents and teachers about seeing whether or not one of these centers would be right for you. (P, T)
Tutor Nation
This is a great resource, both for teens looking for tutors and for teens who want to become tutors. Find a tutor in your area, or look over articles about how to become a more effective tutor. (P, T)
