Back to School
Coming back to school can be nerve-racking. However, there are some things you can do to make your return a little less painful.

Everyone has his/her camp, summer job, extensive T.V. watching schedule, etc. It doesn’t matter what your weapon of choice to battle boredom is. Everyone has a special bond with summer and its lack of structure. Some are willing to fight for it come September. For the rest of us, we accept defeat, and resort to our textbooks.

Beyond the dread of early wake-up’s and homework, you might feel a little afraid of coming back to your school’s social scene. You might feel like everyone has spent the past two or three months having life-changing, conversational piece experiences, while all you’ve done is make a permanent imprint on the couch, watch reruns of the O.C., and eat cereal.

If that applies to you at all, don’t worry. You’re not the only one. Everyone is a little scared that their friends have matured and changed. Everyone is hoping that he/she has changed just enough for the better that people will notice and have flattering conversations about him/her. That’s the nature of the beast, and school is coming whether you like it or not.
