Make the Most of It
Tests, lectures, papers, worksheets, group projects…it's enough to drive you crazy!  There's a good reason that you have to go through all this, though.  even though you might not see it now. High school is the time to explore your academic interests and figure out your strengths. You might have never realized how interested you are in meteorology if you hadn't been forced to take Earth Science. Or would you ever have picked up Hamlet, one of the great tragedies, on your own? Would you have enjoyed it without your teacher guiding you through, explaining the tough Shakespearian words and phrases? Sometimes school seems like a real hassle, but it's the little discoveries you make about yourself that you'll leave with which make it worthwhile.

Tips and Topics

School doesn't have to feel like torture. There are ways to make the most out of the opportunities you are given. Sometimes making a simple change, like the way you take your notes or study for an exam, can mean the difference between struggling through school and shining in the classroom. We're here to let you in on the little secrets of success that are sometimes hard to figure out on your own.
