CAFETERIA SEATING!
Just when you thought the drama of the classroom was over, just when you thought it was safe to stand in the lunch line and wait for your soggy tater-tots, along comes the dreaded CAFETERIA SEATING.

Going to school can be tough.  Between classes, homeroom, and that ultra embarrassing request to use the bathroom pass, sometimes it’s a relief when lunch time rolls around and you can just eat a nice meal with your friends.

BUT WAIT – just when you thought the drama of the classroom was over, just when you thought it was safe to stand in the lunch line and wait for your soggy tater-tots, along comes the dreaded CAFETERIA SEATING!

So many questions!  Where are the “cool kids” sitting?  If I sit too close to the “dorks” will people think that I am one?  If I want to sit next to that cute kid from English will people know that I’m totally crushing?  My tummy’s rumblin’ and needs some of the PB&J my mom packed this morning – but how can I possibly enjoy a sandwich when I can’t even figure out where to rest my weary and arithmetic-filled head?

Where you sit doesn’t have to be a big deal. Be a leader and show everyone that you can fit in no matter where you sit. Who knows, maybe you’ll make a new best friend or encourage other people to break away from their cliques and open up to peers they otherwise don’t interact with.

How many "cliques" are there in your lunchroom?
None. We all get along.
None. There are assigned seats.
Only one that matters – mine.
Too many to keep track of.
