In The Waiting Line
Being picked last or never having a partner really sucks, but the good news is it's not the end of the world.

You dread going to gym class because you know that when it comes time to pick teams, you're going to be the last person picked (or close enough to last).  You're just not good at sports, and you think gym is a pointless class anyway but you have to take it.  Still, that doesn't make you feel any better when you're the last person picked for the team.

You hate it when your teacher tells you it's time to partner up because you always seem to be the odd man out.  You never have a partner in class.  Maybe science just isn't your strong suit, or your friends are in a different class.  Whatever the reason, it still sucks when it comes time to pair off and nobody chose you to work with. Being on the outside looking in at the good time your peers are having together makes you feel bad.

While you're in school and facing this alone, try to remember that everyone is good at something.  Not everyone can shoot hoops or knows the Pythagoras theorem off the top of his head, but everybody's got something to brag about or are good at.  Maybe you're an awesome artist, or can play the piano almost as good as Mozart.  When it comes that dreaded time to partner up in school remember that you've got something really special to offer even though it may not be in that classroom or in the gym.

How does it feel to be the last one picked?
It doesn't bother me
Not too good
Horrible, I hate it
Never been picked last

"Growing up as an actor and growing up in small town New Jersey, I was always sort of an outsider because of what I did. So, I did have to deal with a lot of stuff from my classmates and a lot of teasing, especially at a young age when I first started.  When my first commercial aired on television there were a lot of things that came from classmates.  There was jealousy and some kids look for anything to make fun of or to play with or to set you apart from other people.  Being different, in and of itself, is enough to get you hassled.  But, I knew that it would pass and I had great friends.  It was those people that meant more to me and it was about family and I had confidence that it would pass."
