Out in the Halls…
School life is not all about homework and tests; a large part of being a student is interacting with your peers.  You may not realize it yet, but the social atmosphere in which you interact at school is much different than what you will encounter any other time in life. High school is a time when bodies are changing, hormones are raging and everyone is trying very hard to discover who exactly they are. You're all packed into one building.  Competition is everywhere.  Stress levels are high. In high school, life can get pretty crazy, fast. 

Guess what? All that stuff that's happening in your high school?  The bullying, the popularity contests, the gossip, the heartache, the friendships, even the clueless teachers, are in every high school and every student has to deal with it. The more you realize why these things take place and that they are happening to everyone, the easier it becomes to deal with the problems you encounter out in the halls.
