This site has a good, simple section on sibling rivalry. It’s a good place to start when you are looking for explanations of why your kids are fighting. They offer advice in an easy to read format.
This site is good for parents and younger kids to look at together so that they can discuss sibling rivalry. It has a good series of articles that cover “Attention and Approval,” “The Jealous Monster,” and “Good Rivalries” amongst other topics. There are also interactive section such as a celebrity siblings quiz, a topical word search, book list on siblings and a journal page where your child can write about his or her own experiences.
A little wordy, but the site gives helpful tips to help fighting siblings and provides insight into how the oldest sibling may feel. This site provides an excellent look into sibling rivalry and all the issue surrounding it. If you get bored, or feel that there is too much information here, try just scrolling down to a heading that interests you. The site has some good links and resources as well.
