Family vacations shouldn’t be something we dread or try to avoid. They should be fun.  A vacation is supposed to be a break, a release from your boring day-to-day life.  Even though different families may take different types of vacations, with the right information and attitude any vacation can be cool. One popular family vacation is going to a resort, where you can usually meet other people your own age and find a lot to do right there at the resort. They offer many different types of activities, and will often provide you with an instructor if you would like to try something new.  Another option is taking a trip to a tourist location.  While these tourist spots are often a little cheesy, they give you a great chance to find out about some very interesting info that you can use to impress your teachers next year. And finally, there is the family bonding vacation, which, with a little creativity, can often prove to be the most fun and rewarding vacations of all. 

As a teen, you probably would prefer a vacation that will keep you busy.  Family vacations can be fun, so set a good example for your younger siblings and get into it. Impress your parents by researching some cool vacations spots that include fun activities for everyone.
