The web site lists physical and behavioral warning signs in abused children, alert signals for adults with sexual behavior problems and guidelines for healthy sexuality in children and teens.

This site has sections for kids and parents, personal stories and tips on how to report abuse. There are letters from teenagers about their parents, and forms of mental abuse. This is a great resource for information from kids and adults alike. This site has good interactive tools and graphics and is fun and easy to navigate through.  A very dynamic website!

This site gives tips on how to report abuse, statistics, helpful links and regional sites to help you find resources in your area.  This is a complete website with all sorts of links on the issue of child abuse – both mental and physical.  Good source of information for both kids and adults.  This site has a few interactive features, good graphics, and is pretty easy to read and navigate through.

National Clearinghouse on Child Abuse and Neglect Information:
This site includes state-by-state laws, prevention tips and statistics about abuse. There is also a glossary of legal terms to help clarify what it all means.  It’s main purpose is to serve as a resource center for all sites and publications having to do with child abuse.

Not only does this site have current research and statistics, articles and books, tips on reporting abuse and a celebrity section, but it also includes a sex offender registry so that you can find out how to keep yourself and your loved ones safe.

Parents can call about an out-of-control child, fear of an abusive, alcoholic spouse, drug dependency, or to find shelter for themselves and their family if homeless.

Often abused individuals are also depressed. If you or someone you know is thinking about committing suicide, call this hotline. Their mission is to help people realized that suicide is not the answer. People often bounce back from depression.
