Symptoms of Appendicitis

The tests for appendicitis include a blood test, x-rays and a urine test. The cause is usually unknown. Appendicitis may occur after a viral infection in the digestive tract or when the opening that connects the big intestine to the appendix is blocked.

- Abdominal pain- The pain is usually to the right of your body in your abdomen and will get worse with movement, deep breathing, coughing, sneezing, and applied pressure in the area
- Fever
- Vomiting
- Loss of appetite
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Constipation
- Urinary tract problems
- Frequent urination
- Anorexia
