Is getting high the cool thing to do?

Of all the words in the English language, probably the hardest to say has only two letters in it. The word is "NO."

“Try it, you’ll like it,” your buddies pressure you. “Everybody’s smoking up.  Don’t be such a loser”

How do you say “NO” and still keep their friendship and their respect? Try being funny!

Here is a list of ways to say “NO” to the drugs your friends try to push on you, while still keeping them as friends:

1.  "Thanks, but no thanks. Body pollution is so last season."

2.  "Dude, but why do you think they call it 'dope'?"

3.  "This is the allergy season and my eyes are already red."

4.  "I don’t think so. I’m running out of brains as it is!"

5.  "I’m still grounded for the last time my Mom caught me with a joint and that was two years ago."

6.  "You know me fellas…I’m spacey enough without it."

7.  "If the coach finds out, there goes my chance to play ball…right up in smoke."

8.  "Not today, I’m waiting until they legalize it."

9.  "Is yours filtered? I’m really into 'wellness' so I only smoke filtered joints."

People who “know” say “NO” to marijuana. Although it’s probably the most popular drug used by teenagers, it’s a dangerous one. Marijuana is a depressant drug. It slows down or lowers a person’s ability to think and act normally. When marijuana is smoked, over 2,000 chemicals enter the body through the lungs. Also called grass, pot, hash and weed, some of the LESS dangerous results of using this drug are redness of the eyes and a rapid heartbeat.

Fact or Fiction: There are no long term effects of Marijuana?

Bennet Watson

"I think people are too hung up on this conception that marijuana is not bad and it does not lead to other drugs or do any harm. That's just a lie because I know, had I never smoked pot, I never would have done any of the things that I did subsequently."
