This program provides benefits to children under age 19 whose families are not eligible for Medical Assistance and who are not covered by a private health insurance plan. The program includes benefits for medical-surgical, dental, hearing, prescription drugs and vision.

MDS can provide you with information to help you take the initiative to maintain your oral health. They help you identify common oral health problems, learn what you can do to prevent them, and understand their treatment. They can also offer advice on how to choose a dentist who's right for you and how to reduce any anxiety you may experience with visiting your dentist.
