What a Pain!

Everybody gets aches and pains from time to time...stomach aches, leg cramps, sore throats, etc. One of the most common aches suffered by teenagers and older people alike is a HEADACHE.

The amount of pain a headache gives isn't the same in all sufferers. What caused the headache may also be different. Like many other painful things in life, it's important to know WHY you feel so miserable so that you can use your HEAD to do something about it.

"TURN THAT NOISE OFF!! You're giving me a headache!”

Chances are you've heard words like that from your parent or some other adult in the family when you played your music too loud. Right? In most cases a little loud noise for a short period of time is not a headache starter. But it could be depending on the ear drums, and stress level of the listener. Learn what triggers headaches, where causes some people to suffer from frequent headaches and what to do if a headache should arise.

There are three main kinds of headaches – TENSION HEADACHES, SINUS HEADACHES and MIGRAINE HEADACHES. Help is available to treat the different headache types so you don’t have to suffer in silence (or when there’s a little noise).
