We have all felt cramps in our side or stomach before. It could be from exercise or caused by urinary problems, but when the pain is unbearable, you need to see a doctor so that something can be done about it.
Mitch took a deep breath and grabbed his side. “What’s up with that man? This is the third time you have grabbed your side. Are you being a baby or is there something seriously wrong with you?”
“Nick, you are the least sympathetic friend that I have, you know that? I have been having these awful pains in my side, that’s all.”
“Ah, dude…you probably have to get your appendix taken out. I had to do that when I was 12 years old. My stomach was on fire for like two weeks before I did anything about it. My mom made me go to a doctor.”
“Are you messing with me? I have to get something removed? Can’t they just repair it or give me some meds or whatever?”
“Nah…it's not that bad though. They just run some blood and urine tests and then take some x-rays. Hey, you get to pee in that cup thingy,” Nick joked. “You better have it checked out soon. It might not be appendicitis, but if it is, you need to do something about it before your appendix ruptures.”
“WHAT!! What are you talking about? Why are you talking about organs rupturing inside me? You are so not funny, and now I'm going to vomit,” Mitch was getting worried. He decided to make an appointment immediately. Luckily he listened to his friend…he did have to get his appendix removed but everything was fine after that.
