You Are What You Eat
It¡¦s true: you really are what you eat.  So who wants to be a blob of junk food when you can be healthy and fit?  You don¡¦t have to give up sugars and snacks completely; you just have to watch what you eat and how much.

Sure cookies and donuts taste good.  And there¡¦s nothing like pizza and soda with your friends on a Friday night while watching a movie.  When you¡¦ve had a bad day, there¡¦s nothing like a big bowl of ice cream to make you feel better.  But while you¡¦re making yourself feel happier for the moment, you¡¦re putting lots of unneeded fats and sugars into your body. Sure you¡¦re feeling good but what you¡¦re doing is really bad for your health.

You¡¦ve heard people talk about eating a healthy diet, but you just can¡¦t kick those chips, can you?  Eating right isn¡¦t meant to be a hassle but with the endless choices of foods that are bad for you, it¡¦s getting harder and harder to eat right.

Healthy eating, combined with fitness is worth the effort; it will lead to a healthier you with results you can see and feel.  With the risk of obesity so high in this country, it helps to take steps early on to prevent putting on those extra pounds, which not only affect your appearance, but put a big dangerous strain on your heart and other parts of your body. So the long and short of it is, as Benjamin Franklin said, ¡§all things in moderation¡¨. You can still eat some pizza and chips, just not every night.  Save them for a special occasion and they¡¦ll taste even better.

Do you think you eat a balanced diet?
Not at all. There's too many chances to eat junk food.
I try but I could do better.
Yup, I eat fruit instead of chips.
I have no idea. I just eat what I want when I want.
