This is a site that answers the question “how to antibiotics work?” The answer is easy to understand, and there are also links to great questions regarding the used and misuse of antibiotics and antibacterial products. Great for kids and parents.
This is a very informative site that explains antibiotics and antibiotic resistance. It is not very interactive, but the information is easy to understand and covers a lot of territory.
This is a great, interactive site that lets you see how the same illnesses would have been treated in 1900, 1950, and 1998. This site really helps to demonstrate how medical advances, such as the discovery of antibiotics and penicillin, have saved thousands of lives. It also has a link to biographical information about Dr. Fleming.
This has basic information about antibiotics, as well as the antibiotic resistance problem. Interactive polls and quizzes, but the site itself, while informative, is a little boring.
