That Time of the Month Again…
Getting your period is part of growing up and becoming a woman. Don't let it week ruin your entire week!

Ah the joys of being a woman.  You get to wear skirts as well as pants, have a love for all things shopping, and will stop at nothing for a new pair of shoes or a pocketbook.  You can also be doctors, lawyers, firefighters, and any other profession men can be.  You can cry in sappy movies without anyone giving you weird looks.  Sometimes it really is great to be a girl!

But other times it sucks.  Bra shopping isn't the most exciting experience in the world, and makeup is a huge pain as well.  Yet the worst part of being a woman is getting your period.  It happens to all of us, so we women know how unbearable it can be at times.  Every month the cycle starts over again.  Not one woman naturally escapes this curse.

If you think you've got it bad, think about a hundred years ago when there were no tampons or maxi pads…can you even imagine?!  Think back to the times of petticoats and corsets.  It really could be worse.  And if you haven't gotten yours yet and your friends have, don't worry.  It'll happen when your body is ready.

Getting your period is a pain (literally and figuratively) but luckily with tampons, pads, and medications to ease the pain, the annoying parts of menstruation aren't so bad anymore.  So when that time of the month rolls around, don't stress too much.
