This site is a good place for suggestions on how to conserve your resources. It has section on water conservation, how to build new “green” construction, conserving energy and create less waste.

This is an excellent site to find out more about reducing your negative impact on the environment. There are tons and tons of little tips on conserving resources and reducing waste, but you can also enter your zip code and find out specific information about your area.
National Resources Conservation Service
This is a government site on resource confirmation. The info is very detailed and covers a broad range- from news and scientific studies to landscaping your yard to talking to kids about conservation. There are separate areas for communities, farmers, homeowners, teachers and students and volunteers. There is a lot of information, which is easy to read but sometimes hard to get through. The site is simple but its size and the amount of information makes it a little harder to navigate.
Resource Conservation Alliance
This site concentrates on ways to reduce our wood consumption and save trees.
Student Conservation Association
This is a program that allows high school students to get involved in conservation efforts around the country.
The Nature ConservancyThe Nature Conservancy is one of the leading land conservation programs in the Unites States. Come here to get an idea for what they are doing and what you can do to help.
