Quitting is rarely a good idea, nor is it a good way to handle big problems that you may be facing. Though there are certainly times when quitting may be the correct response, more often than not quitting is not the answer.
Who is a quitter? A quitter is someone who fails to finish what he began. Most often he does not follow through on his tasks and cannot seem to reach his goals because of a lack of ambition to overcome obstacles. From time to time, there are other circumstances that require a person to quit (usually for health or personal reasons), but most of the time quitting shows a lack of motivation.
Persistence - Unchanging and strong in opinion and behavior once decided; firm obedience to a course of action or schedule, despite obstacles; showing endurance and determination in a plan.
Quitting - Quitting, if it’s done without good reason, is another word for fear. Fear that you won’t succeed, come in first or look the best out of the group. Well, success is not guaranteed with every attempt. You can’t always win and sometimes to finish the race you have to get a little messy along the way. In most cases, no one will remember whether you won or lost…just that you showed up ready for the game.
