Know Your Rights . . .
Along with the rights that you are given, comes a lot of responsibility. You are obligated to abide by these rights and if you don't they can be taken away. Let's say one Friday night you told your mom that you were going out to dinner with your friends, but instead you went to a party. As soon as your mom found out, she grounded you and told you that you weren't allowed to go out for 2 weeks.
How awful! But you did break a rule. Your constitutional rights work the same way: You are given a lot of freedom within your rights, but if you abuse that freedom it can be taken away just as easily. You must be aware of your rights or else they are useless to you.
Alan Dershowitz Felix Frankfurter Professor of Law
“I have people call me in desperate situations like the death penalty, facing life imprisonment, lost their job or family. They look to me to help them and sometimes I can help them. There is no greater joy than waking up in the morning and knowing you saved a life or saved a man from life in prison.”
