Double Dating
Double dating is fun and safe. Here¡¦s why:

Double dating is a safe way to begin dating and a fun way to change it up if you¡¦ve already been in a relationship for awhile. Besides, your parents are more likely to let you go out on a double date or group date; having other people around takes the pressure off of you and the one you¡¦re dating. Sometimes, especially early in the relationship, you are still super self-conscious and probably a little nervous. With friends present, you can enjoy each other¡¦s company at the same time get to be with other kids you know well and are comfortable with.

Double dates are also great for introducing new people to each other. Let¡¦s say you want to hook up one of your friends with your boyfriend/girlfriend¡¦s friends. Schedule a group date where they can meet each other. Then if it doesn¡¦t work out, there are other people to socialize with and no one feels awkward. It¡¦s a sure-fire way to find out if the guy/girl likes you. If he ignores you the whole timehe probably isn¡¦t interested. On the other hand, if the person takes the time to talk to you, look at you, and interact with you, he¡¦s probably glad he got the opportunity to chill with you.

Another awesome advantage to double dating is that you don¡¦t have to feel pressured into doing anything physical with your date. If any situation gets uncomfortable don¡¦t be afraid to say no. If the other couple you¡¦re with can¡¦t keep their hands off each other, don¡¦t feel pressured to act the same way. If at any point you feel unsafe or uncomfortable call for a ride or tell them you¡¦re going home because you don¡¦t feel good. You don¡¦t have to stay in an uncomfortable situation. You can explain later to your date and your friends why you really left. If any of them give you a hard time about it, they¡¦re not good friends. Anyone who tries pressuring you to do something you don¡¦t want to is not worth your time.
