College is an exciting new chapter in your life, one that comes with its own set of hopes and fears.  A million questions are probably racing through your head as you get ready to head out of the place you call home and go to live somewhere new for the next four years of your life.  Will I make new friends?  How good is the food?  Can I get financial aid?  What are the dorms like?  But perhaps the most important question of all is, "Will I like it there?"

There are hundreds of colleges to pick from all around the country, not to mention the ones outside of the United States, so how will you know if you’re picking the one that is right for you?  It very well may be impossible to travel around the world and visit all the colleges there are before it’s time for you to make a decision. It’s not, however, impossible to pick the college that is right for you and meets the requirements that are the most important to you.

Following some simple steps and asking the right questions will ensure that you go to a college that has exactly what you want and that you will get the most out of. Read this how-to and you’ll be better equipped to make your journey into college life a successful, fulfilling, and fantastic four years.
