You’re Hired!
Interviews are a necessary part of getting a job, and the worst part to go through.  But interviews don’t have to be so stressful!  A few quick tips and you might even land that dream job!

Interviews are something that no one really likes going through. You’re going to have to go through them eventually, whether you’re asking the questions or giving the answers.  People ask you questions that you have to think of answers to on the spot, like what’s your biggest weakness.  Who knows the answer to that?!  Seriously, who sits around and thinks about their biggest downfall, and why would someone want to hire you based on what you can’t do and not what you can?

While some of the questions may seem pointless, and some of them may seem difficult to come up with a good answer to, interviews are not quite as bad as they may seem.  It’s a way for the employer to get to know you – to see if you would be a good fit for the job and if the job would be a good fit for you.  It’s also your time to shine; you only get one chance to make a first impression so you have to make it count.

There are easy tips for making an interview go more smoothly, and there are even little tricks to make you more noticeable and memorable to the interviewer.  Sometimes you have to come back for second and third round interviews, so it’s better to have interviewing down cold than to be nervous each time.  Nobody likes interviews but almost everyone has to go through them, so why not make them as painless and easy on yourself as possible?  Who knows, you may even get the job!
