Ever wondered what it would be like to work as a sales associate in your favorite store?  It might be easier than you think!

Have you ever gone into your favorite store and thought what it must be like to work there?  To see all the new merchandise before they put it out on the floor, to work the cashier and meet all sorts of people, to get a discount on your favorite stuff?  How much fun it must be to work in the wonderful world of retail!

And you're right - working in retail can be a lot of fun.  But it definitely is not for everyone.  While it may seem like an easy job, it takes a lot of patience to handle customers every day. You have to show your love for the product you're selling to convince others they should buy it.  And if being on your feet all day doesn't sound appealing to you, then forget retail.

Yet retail can be exciting for the right type of person.  If you love meeting new people and talking with them, previewing products before anyone else sees them, and the idea of working a cash register sounds cool, then you're perfect for the retail world.  See if you’ve got the skills it takes to be a sales associate in the fast-paced retail market.
