Employment
Independence could mean no more allowance
While your allowance was enough to get you by when you were ten, you're finding that the things you want to buy are getting more expensive.  The only way you're going to be able to afford them is by getting a job.  We all have to do it at some point, and a job is a great way to make money, learn skills, and meet new people.  There's a whole range of jobs out there for you to look into, from being a sales associate to working in a law office to even being a computer technician.  Whether you want a summer job, an internship, or a part-time job you can have while you go to school, this is the place to go for the ins and outs of the employment world. We're here to make your job search a little bit easier.
Working Hard for the Money

Jobs are more than a way to pass time. Jobs aren't all about making money or learning a specific trade. A job will give you the know-how to earn a living so that you can provide for yourself and your family (once you have one). You will learn how to respond to various tough situations and difficult people. A job will teach you valuable life lessons about business, people, and more importantly - yourself! People are no longer keeping the same jobs for 20 years. They change departments, move up in a company, or return to school to earn a degree in something totally different so they can switch their focus to a new job - often more relevant to the direction they wish to take in life. The more experience you get at a young age, the more prepared you will be when you enter the competitive labor force when you've finished your education.
