Look for the artist formerly known as Dawson, in the upcoming season of Ugly Betty. James Van Der Beek will star as the owner of fashion house, Atlantic Attire. His company begins to do business with Mode magazine, but the relationship stall when VDB’s character learns of Mode co-editor, Alexis Meade’s trans-sexuality.

Also, be sure to add Final Draft to your list for scary movie nights. The DVD came out in September and stars VDB as a screenwriter with writer’s block who locks himself in the basement to meet a deadline. He soon finds that he is trapped inside the world he has created with his characters.
