Mia Hamm
U.S. National Team Soccer Player
"There’s nothing wrong with wanting to win and striving to be the best, but it is most important to have fun."
Mia Hamm is known as the best women’s soccer player in the U.S., and many would say in the world. She has been compared to such great athletes as Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods. Yet, all this success has not made her forget what is important to her.  Like all of us, Mia has had setbacks and heartbreaks.  The death of her brother after a bone marrow transplant and working hard to “break the mold” for female athletes only made her stronger. She has taken that strength and focused it into her Foundation. Read more about Mia’s Foundation, and what other experiences have impacted her life.
