Free Giving Back To The Community

More About "Free4Life"...

Free started her foundation to create opportunities that support, encourage, and strengthen the healthy development of young people in Boston’s underserved communities. By implementing and supporting original and innovative programming, the Free4Life Foundation seeks to inspire young people to believe in themselves and in their future.

Free4Life gives kids a chance to shine.  "When I was growing up I went to dance school. It was such an important part of my life. Now that I am able to give back, I want to give that opportunity and experience to other kids.”

Investing Pays Off

Free has decided to dedicate resources into teaching young people about money.  Her goal is to assist young people become financially literate and more confident and willing to take control of their futures. Empowering kids to become financially literate comes first with education and then with application. The F4LF financial literacy project aims to accomplish both and has partnered with one of the country’s most prestigious financial institutions to do so – Merrill Lynch.

Merrill Lynch’s Investing Pays Off (IPO) program aims to prepare young people for the future by arming them with the knowledge and know-how essentials for financial and career success.  The IPO program also exposes youngsters to learning and experiences that will motivate them to become the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Investing Pays Off program will launch on January 9th 2004 with all incoming Freshmen at Boston’s MATCH School (approximately 60 students) from January-June 2004.
