Dr. Carton directs the development of WARM2Kids' content. Her passion for helping structure and motivate the lives of teens and parents makes her a Role Model for us all. Dr. Carton has a personal mission to 'Inform, Instruct, and Inspire' teens and parents to make positive life decisions. Originally from Baltimore, Dr. Carton was one of the first women to attend Johns Hopkins University and following her education, she became a teacher.
Lonnie's experience ranges from elementary classroom teacher to Tufts University professor, where she worked as the learning systems designer and consultant. Lonnie has also worked as the Senior Editor for "Education Today" and the Director of Family Support Services for Boston Partners in Education.
Did you know? - Lonnie has the longest running CBS feature ("In the Learning Center"), broadcasting to millions of listeners for over 2 decades. Dr. Carton is also an active member of prestigious boards, including Anheuser-Busch’s “Family Talk About Drinking” advisory panel.
